Connecting WhatsApp is the one step that turns Buvvo on. You keep your existing number, you don’t lose your chat history, and activation takes about 90 seconds.
Before you start
- You have a WhatsApp Business number you control.
- You can receive the verification code on that number or its linked Facebook Business account.
- You’re an Owner or Admin on the Buvvo shop.
Connect it
- In the dashboard, open Shop → WhatsApp.
- Click “Connect WhatsApp”. This opens Meta’s secure embedded signup in a popup.
- Log in to Facebook/Meta and pick (or create) the Business and WhatsApp account for your number.
- Confirm the number and enter the verification code Meta sends.
- Back in Buvvo, the WhatsApp page flips to “Connected”. You’re live.
Buvvo connects through the official WhatsApp Business API. That’s why your number and history stay intact — there’s no “new number” and nothing to re-import by hand.
New chats now flow into Buvvo → Chats. The AI bot starts in draft-only mode, so nothing auto-sends until you decide it should.
